Dr. Dhanalakshmi Sivanandhan is a Professor in the School of Biotechnology, bringing extensive industry leadership from TheraIndx Lifesciences and Jubilant Therapeutics, where she advanced multiple oncology programs from discovery to clinical candidates. A JNU trained cancer biologist with postdoctoral work in Japan and the USA, she has led over 25 oncology discovery projects, delivered multiple preclinical candidates, and authored several patents.
Dr. Rekha Puria is a molecular microbiologist with 15+ years of expertise in yeast genetics and genomics, trained at Duke University Medical Center (Postdoc) and IMTECH (PhD). Her research focuses on TOR signaling–mediated regulation of growth, drug tolerance, and pathogenesis in Candida auris, supported by SERB, ICMR, and CSIR, while also exploring soil microbiota–crop interactions through metagenomics.
